Teen Tuesday Gaming – April 6th, 3:30-4:30
Come play games after school. We’ll have the Wii and Playstation out, as well as an assortment of board games.

Teen Tuesday- Magnetic Message Kits- April 20th, 3:30-4:30
We’re making Magnetic Message Kits for National Poetry Month. Since the beginning of time, the world has enjoyed shuffling words and word parts around to create poetry, prose, or just humor. These kits are so much fun for everyone! A story, a poem, a caption for a photo, or just a message to a loved one- all can be done with magnetic message kits!

Read-a-Rosie, Win-a-Rosie

rosieHEY TEENS, want to win a FREE BOOK?
It’s easy! Just read a 2009-2010 Eliot Rosewater nominee and submit an online review.

RULES:
1. Open to students in grades 7-12.
2. Submit an online review for an Eliot Rosewater nominee.
3. Each review submitted equals one entry to win a copy of one of the nominated books!
4. Each student will be allowed a maximum of 21 entries.
5. Only one prize will be awarded per person.
6. Each student who submits a review will be invited to a pizza party on Tuesday, April 13th at the Lawrenceburg Public Library, where the winners will be announced, official voting will take place (if students didn’t vote at their schools), and book trailers made by teens during Teen Tech Week will be shown.

Show your drawings, play video games, watch episodes of Anime series and check out the Library’s Manga materials. Hang with your friends while enjoying snacks! (You are welcome to bring a snack to share.) Open to Teens in grades 7-12.
Monday, December 14th from 3:30-5:30 PM at the Lawrenceburg Public Library.

Teen Poetry Cafe

April is National Poetry Month. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to drop by our jazz age coffeehouse, take the stage, and share your teen talents. Read you own poetry, a favorite poem, share your musical talents, or just come by and enjoy the atmoshpere. Refreshments will be served, compliments of the Friends of the Library. Bring a friend and enjoy the fun!

Teen Gamers Club

Come to the Library and challenge your friends to a video or board game: Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Chess, Twister, Scrabble, Wii games, and more! Open to students in grades 7-12.
Monthly meetings are held after school from 3-5 PM at the Lawrenceburg Public Library. Call the Library @ 537-2775, ex. 23 or 40 for dates and times.
