FAQ: Things you wanted to know about BOB
Do I have to return Mobile Library items back to the
Mobile Library?
You can, but if it’s more convenient, you may also return items to the Main
Library or North Dearborn Branch.
How long can I keep borrowed Mobile Library items?
The loan period is four weeks (28 days); however, if the Mobile Library schedule
changes (holidays, inclement weather, etc.), the due date is extended.
Are there overdue fines on the Mobile Library items?
No, although BOB patrons are still responsible for lost or damaged items.

What is Homebound Service?
Homebound Service within the Lawrenceburg Public Library District is a personalized delivery of library materials to persons confined to their homes due to:
- Physical disability or
- Illness
Items are selected based on patron requests and preferences and are delivered on a monthly basis. This service is free to residents within the library district. How do I request library service?

How can I volunteer to help?
Outreach is looking for people who are willing to deliver materials to homebound patrons. Volunteers must:
- Donate 2-4 hours per month for material selection and delivery purposes
- Pass a background check and provide references
- Show proof of automobile insurance
- Have an excellent driving record
- Provide their own transportation and gasoline
- Complete a training session.
